Liya Silver oder auch Kristina Shcherbinina wurde am 25. Februar 1999 in Kirgistan geboren. Sie zog von ihrer Mutter zu ihrem Vater nach Sankt Petersburg in Russland, nachdem sie die Hochschule abgeschlossen hatte.
Mit 18 Jahren begann sie als Erotikmodel. Nach einer gescheiterten Beziehung begann sie mit 19 Jahren ihre Karriere als Pornodarstellerin. Laut eigener Aussage tat sie dies um Aufmerksamkeit zu generieren aber auch, da sie der Lifestyle interessierte. 2018 wurde ihre erste Analsexszene heben Emily Willis, Izzy Lush und Paige Owens aufgenommen, was ihr internationale Bekanntheit und erstmals ein Cover bescherte.²
2019 übereichte man ihr gleich zwei XBIZ Europe Awards für bestes neues Pornosternchen und beste Glamcore-szene. Mit nur 21 gewann sie im Januar 2020 den AVN Award für bestes neues Pornosternchen aus dem Ausland und den 2020 AVN Award für beste Hetero Sex-Scene aus dem Ausland. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte sie noch relativ wenige Szenen gedreht, da sie vor allem auf Qualität über Quantität achtet. Dabei ist ihr die visuelle Ästhetik und eine gute Atmosphäre am Set sehr wichtig. Sie arbeitete auch für hochkarätige europäische und amerikanische Firmen wie Vixen, Blacked und Tushy.³
Ihrer Freizeit verbringt Silver mit der Ausübung verschiedener Sportarten, Partys und geht gerne ins Kino.
